This populist arm of the new media has been one of the most democratizing forces the communications world has witnessed in recent times and its influence on public policy, particularly, has been significant and unprecedented. Today, Everyman and Everywoman have the potential to disseminate his, or her, opinions, ideas, passions and prejudices to a broad audience and make a difference.

Having written so much about blogging — its power and influence — I practice what I preach.
